A small room on the square, run by the same family for 35 years.

The Main Street Eatery has been feeding downtown Brooksville out of a quaint little room on the square since 1989 — family owned, family operated, the whole time.

The soup is made here. The chicken salad is made here. The chili is made here, and if you can finish a bowl of the Buzzard Breath, the second one is on the house. The cobbler changes daily because whoever's baking decides that morning.

The dining room is small and it gets busy, which is the honest trade for food that isn't rushed. Come early, or call ahead and we'll have it on the counter.
